In Bukhara desert, four people arrested for the rape of a 13-year-old girl

News has spread on social networks about a 13-year-old girl, who was raped by four men in the desert of Bukhara.  Spokesman of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shahrukh Ghiyasov, provided information to QALAMPIR.UZ about the situation.

According to the reports, the young girl lived in the same household as her brother's family and she was regularly forced by her sister-in-law to engage in sexual activities with men.  On this occasion, she was offered by her sister-in-law to these four men, who took her to a hut in the desert and proceeded to rape the 13-year-old child.  It is understood that three of the four men (driver excluded) committed the depraved acts.

This situation was confirmed by the press secretary of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Shahrukh Giyosov who also stated that a criminal case has been initiated under Part 4 of Article 118 (defamation) of the Criminal Code.  With this article, a person is sentenced imprisonment from fifteen to twenty years.

Also, investigations are underway to identify other participants involved in this crime.
