Bukhara DIA officers have been implicated in drug trafficking

Two officers from the Department of Internal Affairs in the Bukhara Region have been apprehended, as announced by Shohrukh Giyosov, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
On March 16 of this year, these two individuals were discovered to be engaged in the unlawful distribution of drugs and were apprehended during a collaborative operation with allied organizations.
A criminal case has been initiated under Article 25, Article 273, Part 5 of the Criminal Code in response to the situation. Investigations are currently ongoing.
