Uzbekistan to face Kuwait today

Today, October 9, the Uzbekistan national football team will play its first friendly match of the international break. The match against Kuwait will kick off at 18:00 at the Olimpiya Stadium in Tashkent.
This game will mark the debut of the new head coach, Fabio Cannavaro, as he takes charge of the national team for the first time.
It was earlier announced that the Uzbek players will wear an all-white kit, while the goalkeeper will play in green.
For reference, Uzbekistan and Kuwait have faced each other five times so far. Uzbekistan has won three of those matches and lost two.
It is worth noting that Cannavaro called up Azizbek Turgunbayev and Umar Eshmurodov to join the national team’s training camp.
