The pedagogic rate of elementary school teachers can be reduced by 2 hours

In Uzbekistan, the pedagogic rate of elementary school teachers can be set at 16 hours.  This was reported by the Educational Control Inspection.

It is noted that in the state program for the implementation of the development strategy of New Uzbekistan for 2022-2026 in the “Year of attention to people and quality education”, until May 2023, the pedagogic rate of elementary school teachers will be 16 hours.  

In addition, the state program stipulates the preparation of a proposal on improving the conditions of remuneration for the work of general secondary school leaders by May 2023.
Furthermore, according to the state program, starting from 1 April this year, the monthly salaries of 27,000 teachers of professional educational institutions in the Republic will be increased by 20%, and will be equal to 3 million soms on average.  139 billion soms will be allocated for the implementation of these goals this year.

For information, currently, the pedagogic rate of elementary school teachers in schools in Uzbekistan is 18 hours, and the rate of high school teachers is 20 hours.
