News about the increasing number of coronavirus infections among young children has spread on social networks.  The Ministry of Health provided information on the situation.

According to the ministry, these reports are not true.

“The latest increase in acute respiratory diseases and coronavirus among children occurred in the fall of last year.  At that time, 500 additional treatment beds were created for patients in the Zangiota infectious diseases hospital,” the report said.

It is noted that now the situation is stable, and the indicators of the disease have decreased sharply.

“If there is an increase in coronavirus or other acute respiratory diseases among children, official information will be provided.  Dear compatriots, pay serious attention to your children’s health, especially their clothing and nutrition, in the winter climate.  Don’t believe such false news,” the report said.
