The state fee is reduced for several notary services

On amendments and additions to the law "On State Duty" by senators at the thirty-fifth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 19 November this year” the draft law was approved.  This was reported by the Senate Press Service.

According to the law, it was established that the deceased citizen is exempt from paying the state duty when issuing a certificate of the right to inheritance about the pension provided by personal savings.

Also, state duty rates have been optimized to clearly explain the number of fees charged for performing notarial acts and to ensure transparency for citizens.

According to the law, the amount of the state duty established for approving the property lease agreement or making changes to it has been reduced by half.

Differentiated state duty rates for approving pledges, mortgage, and leasing contracts, loan contracts, and contracts for the transfer of motor vehicles to another person were unified and set at a single rate.

In addition, the amount of state tax charged from non-relative persons for approval of contracts for driving and free use of motor vehicles was reduced from 3 times to 2 times the amount of the base calculation.

To prevent possible disputes in the conclusion and execution of debt contracts between citizens, and to reduce the workload of courts, the amount of state duty for the notarial execution of such contracts in foreign currency has been reduced by half.
