Train runs over minibus in Bekabad (video)

On June 14, a traffic accident involving a train and a minibus occurred in the city of Bekabad, Tashkent region. This was reported by the regional Road Safety Department.

According to the report, the incident took place at approximately 16:40 at a railway crossing on Buyuk Ipak Yuli Street in Bekabad. The crossing was equipped with railway traffic lights and road signs but lacked a barrier. A JAC M3 minibus, driven by H.F., born in 2002, collided with a TZM2UM diesel locomotive traveling along the tracks.

The Road Safety Department noted that the vehicles sustained technical damage in the accident. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

An investigation into the incident is currently being conducted by the Bekabad city Road Safety Department of the Internal Affairs Directorate.

It is worth noting that earlier in the Tashkent region, a 30-year-old woman threw herself under a train. The woman, a resident of the Chinaz district, died as a result.
