A man implicated in his wife's suicide was apprehended in Bekobod

Previously, it was stated that a 28-year-old woman tragically died by jumping from the 5th floor of a multi-story building in the Bekobod district of the Tashkent region. The regional prosecutor's office issued a statement regarding the incident.
The Bekobod district prosecutor's office conducted an investigation into the matter and launched a criminal case under Article 103 of the Criminal Code (Suicide).
The deceased woman's husband was detained under Article 227 of the Criminal Procedure Code.
The report emphasizes that investigative procedures will be conducted thoroughly, comprehensively, and impartially, with a legal decision to be made based on the findings.
It's worth noting that the deceased was married with two children, aged 6 and 2, and had no prior criminal record.
According to sources, a restraining order was issued to the deceased three times, with the most recent one dated March 6, 2024, prohibiting the husband and wife from residing together in cases of harassment or violence.
