The dollar exchange rate in banks breaks a new record again

Today, 12 March, the rate of sale of the US dollar in commercial banks of Uzbekistan increased to 11,050 soms. Thus, the country’s highest-ever dollar exchange rate has been updated again.
Some commercial banks buy US dollars at 10,970-10,980 soms and sell them at 11,040-11,050 sums.
For the reference, the official rate of the dollar, set by the Central Bank on 12 March, is 10 998.06 soms. As of 11 March, the official rate was 10,957.36 som.
It should be noted that the banks are closed on Saturdays. As a result, many banks have not updated their dollar exchange rates yet. On Monday, it is possible that almost all banks will set the dollar exchange rate at 11 040-110 050 soms.
