Bakhtiyor Saidov holds phone call with Pakistani Foreign Minister

Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a telephone conversation with Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan. Saidov shared news of the conversation on his official Telegram channel.

During the call, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing close cooperation to ensure the timely implementation of all agreements previously reached by the leaders of the two countries. Particular attention was given to the Uzbekistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan railway project.

In addition, the ministers discussed strengthening bilateral relations, boosting mutual trade, and enhancing regional connectivity.

It is worth noting that just a day earlier, on May 24, Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Salim bin Muhammad al-Malik, Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO). During the meeting, an action plan was signed between the Government of Uzbekistan and ICESCO outlining key areas for deepening cooperation and jointly implementing priority projects in the near future.
