Teachers of native language, literature, and history to receive 50 % bonus from January 1

Starting January 1, 2025, teachers of native language, literature, and history subjects in general secondary education institutions will receive a 50 percent monthly bonus. This initiative is part of the Presidential Decree issued on February 21, 2024, titled "On the State Program for the Implementation of the 'Uzbekistan-2030' Strategy in the 'Year of Support for Youth and Business.'"

The decree specifies that teachers holding certification at the appropriate level within the national assessment system of the Agency for the Assessment of Knowledge and Qualifications under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations will be eligible for the 50 percent bonus, provided they teach history, native language, or literature.

Additionally, during a meeting with education sector representatives on September 30, 2024, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev announced that from the 2025-2026 academic year, qualification certificates aligned with international standards would be introduced. Teachers who achieve a score of 86 or higher in these exams will qualify for an additional 70 percent bonus.
