The Women's Asian Cup will be held in Uzbekistan

Uzbekistan is set to host the 2029 Asian Women's Football Cup, as reported by the Asian Football Confederation's (AFC) website.

The AFC announced that Australia will host the 2026 continental championship, while Uzbekistan will host the 2029 tournament. During an executive committee meeting in Bangkok, AFC President Sheikh Salman expressed his best wishes to Ravshan Ermatov, the first vice-president of the Football Association of Uzbekistan (UFA), for organizing the event successfully.

"We are confident that Uzbekistan will deliver a highly competitive tournament in 2029, surpassing expectations. We extend our best wishes to the organizing committees of both member associations as they prepare for these significant events," stated Sheikh Salman.

Additionally, it is noteworthy that the championship hosted by Uzbekistan will serve as a qualifier for the 2031 World Cup.
