2.5 kg of hashish found in cars stopped in Andijan (video)

Nearly 2.5 kilograms of hashish were seized during operations in Andijan region. The State Security Service reported this.

According to the report, during an operation in Asaka district, a Lacetti vehicle was stopped and inspected. During the search, 2 kilograms of hashish belonging to three citizens born in 1970, 1981 and 1984, who live in Namangan and Margilan, were found in the car. The case was documented in procedural order.

In another operation conducted in Marhamat district, 497 grams of hashish were seized as physical evidence from a Cobalt vehicle driven by a citizen born in 1985 and living in the city of Kuva.

Criminal cases have been opened in both cases, and custody has been applied as a preventive measure. Investigative actions are underway.

Earlier, it was reported that nearly 4 kilograms of hashish smuggled in from a neighboring country had been seized.
