In Andijan, a bus driver caused a traffic accident while driving under the influence, as reported by the Regional Road Traffic Safety Department.
On December 6, at 11:30 p.m., bus driver B.R., born in 1965, met with a fatal accident on Yu.Otabekova street in Andijan city. He was driving in an inebriated state and fell asleep, causing the bus to veer off the road.
"The driver remained uninjured as a result of the accident. However, legal actions have been initiated against him by the YPX employee," the statement mentioned.
It's worth noting that in a prior incident in Jizzakh, the driver of a "Zhiguli" car lost control and collided with five parked cars along the roadside.
