Nexia collides with truck in Andijan overtaking attempt

In Andijan’s Shahrikhon district, a Nexia-3 attempting to overtake other vehicles collided with an oncoming truck. This was reported by the regional Traffic Safety Department.

According to the report, the incident occurred today, April 12, in the "Begbachcha" neighborhood area at kilometer 413 of the international A-373 highway, on the Andijan–Shahrikhon route. The Nexia-3, driven by I.I., tried to overtake vehicles ahead and moved to the right edge of the road. In an attempt to avoid hitting the vehicle in front, the driver braked sharply and lost control. The Nexia-3 then struck the rear left side of the trailer of an oncoming IVECO truck, resulting in a road accident.

It was reported that a passenger in the Nexia-3 sustained minor injuries and sought medical assistance. An investigation is currently underway, conducted by the Traffic Safety Division of Shahrikhon District's Internal Affairs Department.

Note: Earlier, in the Turtkul district of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, an Isuzu truck collided with the back of a DAF truck. The Isuzu driver, trapped inside the cabin, was successfully rescued.
