Bridge collapses in Andijan

In the Andijan region, news has emerged that a bridge in the village of Yorqishloq, located between the Khojaobod and Jalaquduq districts, collapsed due to a severe flood. The regional authorities provided an official statement on the matter.
"A working group comprising representatives from the region and both districts is currently on-site and investigating the situation. Further details will be shared," the statement read.
It was confirmed that no casualties or injuries occurred due to the incident. Other aspects of the situation are still being investigated.
Previously, a bridge in the Kashkadarya region also collapsed. Additionally, there were reports of the bridge over the Zarafshon River in the Jondor district of Bukhara region collapsing.
