On 9 December 2022, at 10:00 p.m., a driver, E.M., hit two pedestrians. This was reported by the press service of the Internal Affairs Department of the Andijan region.
It is noted that the IIB officer was driving a Spark on the 2nd kilometer of the highway 4R-112E passing through an area of "Kashkar" street, Asaka district after duty when the vehicle skidded on ice while on the bridge and lost control. As a result, he hit two pedestrians who were walking on the side of the road.
Infantryman M.K. was born in 1994. He died in the hospital due to his injuries. Also, a pedestrian born in 2004, A.K., was admitted to the hospital with injuries.
In connection with the situation, the prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case under Article 266 of the Criminal Code, and investigations are underway.
