Drug traffickers arrested in Andijan

Several persons selling prohibited drugs and narcotics were arrested in the city of Andijan.  This was reported in the Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Andijan region.

On 20 September of this year, the Criminal Investigation Department of the Andijan region, the department of Internal Affairs of the Andijan Region and the staff of the DXX District Department, conducted operational and investigative measures in the area of a citizens' retreat «Independence» of the Andijan Region.

Also, on 20 September this year, the criminal investigation department of the department of Internal Affairs of the Andijan region and the regional department of the State Security Service carried out quick actions in the territory of the "Independence" neighborhood of the Andijan city, and determined that there were several persons selling prohibited drugs in this area.

It is noted that during the search of a bag, belonging to a P.B., a resident of Andijan, born in 1996, 50 pieces of hard drug "Tropamid" were discovered.  It was also established that a citizen of Altynkol district, H.D., born in 1984, had with him the strong narcotic «Regapen» 280 units.

In addition, 1 piece of «Tropicamide» and 2 pieces of strong preparation «Regapen» were found and seized from N.U., a resident of Andijan, born in 1992.  
In connection with these cases, investigations are being carried out by the Andijan city investigative organization.
