A chaykhana (a tea house which serves national dishes) caught fire in Andijan

A fire broke out in one of the chaykhanas in Andijan district of Andijan region. This was reported by the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

It is noted that today, 21 January at 2:41 p.m., the emergency department of the district received a report about a fire in one of the chaykhanas located in Koshariq daha, Andijan district, Andijan region.

According to the call, 5 fire-rescue crews arrived at the scene at 14:45 p.m. The fire was contained at 14:47 p.m. and extinguished at 15:00 p.m.

The roof, ceiling and equipment of the chaykhana was damaged by fire in an area of about 70 square meters.

No one was injured or killed as a result of the incident. The cause of the fire and the amount of material damage are currently being determined.
