A 21-year-old bride commits suicide in Andijan

A 21-year-old bride has tragically taken her own life in the Altinkol district of the Andijan region. The regional prosecutor's office has reported this distressing incident.

On July 15 of this year, S.O., a resident of Oltinkol district, sadly ended her life.

The preliminary findings from the forensic medical examination reveal that S.O. experienced mechanical asphyxiation due to compression of the neck organs using a bandage. Additionally, there was bleeding in the areas beneath the visceral pleural sheets of the lungs and beneath the epicardium of the heart. The examination indicates evidence of strangulation around the neck area, with injuries observed around the chin, forehead, and left ear.

Furthermore, a forensic psychological examination has been initiated in connection with this heart-wrenching case.

Presently, the district prosecutor's office is actively investigating the matter, and a legal decision will follow as part of the ongoing process.
