An 11th-grade student drowned in a canal in the Andijan region. Hayot Shamsutdinov, the press secretary of the General Prosecutor's Office, informed QALAMPIR.UZ about this incident.
It is noted that S.S., born in 2007, on July 24 at 1:30 p.m., went to bathe in the Great Fergana canal flowing through the territory of the "Qovunchi" neighborhood in the Marhamat district. While bathing, he fell into the water due to carelessness.
Regarding this situation, the Marhamat District Prosecutor's Office is conducting an investigation. Until the investigation is complete, the case is being handled by the regional prosecutor's office.
We remind you that earlier, three minors drowned due to carelessness when they went to bathe in an artificial water basin located on farmland in the Oltiariq district of the Fergana region.
