9764The dream of studying, working, and living abroad has become a growing aspiration among many young people in Uzbekistan. The allure of the West, particularly Europe, and America, has led to a shift in mindset, where many are ready to invest thousands of dollars or take risks through illegal means in pursuit of a better life. But is this path worth it? Is there a future in returning home, or should one simply push forward toward the dream of a Western lifestyle?
Today, QALAMPIR.UZ explores the life of 19-year-old Uzbek, Javohir Azizov, who not only chased the opportunity to study at one of the world’s most prestigious universities but is also teaching students from around the globe. As a student at the University of Michigan, Javohir embodies the aspirations of many youth seeking new horizons. His story brings forward the question: should one strive to go abroad, and how does it feel to be far from home while contributing to the global knowledge exchange?
Javohir Azizov’s journey reflects the hopes of many Uzbeks yearning for opportunities in the West, yet it also raises the crucial question of what happens after achieving these dreams.
