Kamil Allamjonov was appointed to a new position

Kamil Ismoilovich Allamjonov was appointed as the head of the Information Policy Department of the Presidential Administration of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  This was announced by the press secretary of the President, Sherzod Asadov.

Until today, Kamil Allamjonov was the deputy head of the Presidential Administration.  Before that, he worked as the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Public Fund for Support and Development of National Mass Media.  He informed that he transferred all his businesses to other owners during his tenure as the Deputy Head of Administration.

For information, Kamil Allamjonov is considered one of the youngest officials in the political sphere of the country.  He was born on September 18, 1984 in Tashkent.  He began his career in the informational program “Davr” of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan – “Yoshlar” television and radio channel.

His appearance is related to the period when he worked as the head of the press service of the State Tax Committee in 2005-2013.  From December 1, 2017 to October 3, 2018, Allamjonov worked as the Deputy Head of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Press Secretary of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

On November 29, 2018, he was appointed as the director of the Information and Mass Communications Agency.  He left this position in January 2020.
