Carol Miller, US Congresswoman, arrives in Tashkent to discuss bilateral cooperation

1924Today, March 17, US Congresswoman Carol Miller was received by Uzbek Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov in Tashkent. The minister himself shared the news on his social media page.
“Today, we are pleased to welcome US Congresswoman Carol Miller at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We discussed strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and the United States,” Saidov wrote.
It was noted that the strategic partnership between the two countries continues to grow steadily across various sectors, with even greater potential for future collaboration. Active inter-parliamentary relations remain one of the key priorities for both nations.
“We highly appreciate the role of the Congressional Caucus on Uzbekistan (Group of Friends), which serves as an important bridge between our countries,” Saidov added.
It is also worth mentioning that on February 21, Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During the call, they discussed bilateral and multilateral issues and agreed to further expand the partnership between the two countries.
