Almost half of applicants fail the test

In this year's examinations for admission to secondary educational institutions, the applicants failed the test. This was reported by the Agency for the Development of Knowledge and Malacca.

It was noted that the exams were held 12 days ago, and 737,351 applicants took part in the tests. This is 151 thousand less than the previous year. 243 applicants with permits did not appear for the exam. Those who were excluded from the test were given 94 points. Of the applicants who took the test, 345,869 students (46.9%) failed to score 56.7 points. 391,482 candidates (53.1%) were admitted with scores above 56.7.

This year, the largest number of applicants came from Samarkand, Kashkadarya, and Fergana provinces.

The lowest average scores were obtained by applicants from the provinces of Bukhara, Tashkent, and Fergana. The average scores in the various provinces are as follows:

  • Bukhara – 75.9 points
  • Tashkent – 74.6 points
  • Fargona – 69.9 points
  • Namangan – 68 points
  • Khorazm – 68 points
  • Navoiy – 67.2 points
  • Samarkand – 67 points
  • Kashkadarya – 65.9 points
  • Jizzah – 65.5 points
  • Surkhandarya – 64.7 points
  • Tashkent – 64 points
  • Andijon – 63.5 points
  • Republic of Korakalpogistan – 63.3 points
  • Sirdaryo – 62.8 points
