Today, July 10, Abdulla Mamasaatovich Abduqodirov was relieved of his position as Acting Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan due to his transfer to another job. The relevant decree was signed by the President of Uzbekistan.
For reference, Abdulla Mamasaatovich Abduqodirov was born on February 19, 1961, in Tashkent. He graduated from the Tashkent Institute of National Economy in 1982. Abduqodirov is a Doctor of Economics and a specialist with many years of experience in the field of economics.
He began his career as a researcher at the Institute of Economics of the Academy of Sciences. Later, he held various senior positions at the Ministry of Finance, including Deputy Minister and First Deputy Minister.
He also served as First Deputy Chairman of the State Property Committee and Director General of the Center for the Development and Improvement of the Securities Market. During his career, he also worked in the private sector and banking system, including as Deputy Chairman of the Board of ABN AMRO Bank’s branch in Uzbekistan and as a member of the Supervisory Board of Infinbank.
In recent years, he had been working in the areas of investment and strategic development. From 2020 to 2022, he served as adviser to the Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade.
Since December 2022, he had been serving as First Deputy Director of the agency. By a presidential decree dated May 12 this year, Abdulla Abduqodirov was appointed Acting Director of the Agency for Strategic Development and Reforms.
