The fee for privatization of state-registered land owned by the population has been reduced. Head of the information service of the Cadastre Agency, Ne’mat Atamuratov, gave information about this at a briefing held at the Information and Mass Communications Agency. With the decision, changes and additions were made to the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 71 of 14 February 2022 “On measures to implement the law of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the privatization of land plots not intended for agriculture” .
It is noted that until now the fee for privatization of the state-registered land owned by the population was 20 times the annual land tax. Now this value has been set at 10 times the land tax in the cities of Tashkent and Nukus and regional centers, and 5 times in other regions.
Also in the decision:
Differentiated reduction of the purchase price of the plot of land being privatized;
Shortening the terms and stages of realization of land plots through electronic online auction;
Leaving a part of the proceeds from the sale of land plots through an electronic online auction at the disposal of districts and cities;
The characteristics of the realization of land plots in the territory of small industry, youth industry and entrepreneurship zones through an electronic online auction were determined.
According to the decision, the stages of auctioning land plots that are not intended for agriculture have been reduced, and the time spent on land acquisition with the right of lease was 48 working days, and the time spent on ownership was reduced to 16 and 22 working days.
In agreement with the regional architecture and urban development council, it was planned to speed up the processes by auctioning the land on the basis of the master plan.
The practice of giving land to entrepreneurs in a simple manner will be introduced in accordance with the lots provided for in the master plan.
