The duty-free import regime for 60 types of products in Uzbekistan has been extended, according to the presidential decree “On Further Measures to Ensure Equal Conditions for Entrepreneurs and a Fair Competitive Environment,” signed on December 28.

The decree prolongs the zero customs duty rate for certain goods until January 1, 2026, as per Presidential Decrees No. PF-145 dated May 31, 2022, and No. PF-41 dated March 23, 2023. This measure aims to maintain price stability in consumer markets.

The list of goods eligible for duty-free import includes fish, butter, margarine, cream, condensed milk, eggs, bananas, coffee, tea, flour, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, confectionery, jam, soft drinks, hair products, and certain hygiene products. Additionally, fruits such as fresh or dried dates, figs, pineapples, avocados, guavas, mangoes, coconuts, apples, pears, and quince can continue to be imported duty-free for one year.
