Illegal land sellers are apprehended in three different regions

Individuals engaged in the illicit sale of land in Samarkand, Surkhandarya, and Andijan regions have been arrested, as reported by the State Security Service.

In the Kattakorgan district of the Samarkand region, a citizen gained the trust of an individual wishing to construct a greenhouse. He promised to provide them with one hectare of land from the state reserve for $150,000 USD, using his official connections. Furthermore, he demanded a total of $159,000 USD, stating that he would register the land under his name in the cadastral system with the assistance of his contacts for $9,000 USD. He was apprehended with physical evidence when receiving the funds.

In the case observed in the Pakhtachi district of the region, an individual born in 1982 agreed to sell 10.45 hectares of land from his mother's farm to an entrepreneur intending to build a fruit processing plant for 900 million soums. He was apprehended upon receiving an advance payment of $13,000 USD.

In the Shorchi district of the Surkhandarya region, a farm worker specializing in horticulture, who had a prior criminal record, offered to sell 50 hectares of land from this farm to a buyer for $45,000 USD. He was apprehended while receiving $40,000 USD.

Furthermore, an individual residing in the Asaka district of Andijan was caught in the act of selling 24 acres of land from a horticulture-focused farm to a buyer for $22,500 USD, complete with documents for future residential construction.

Currently, criminal cases have been initiated against these individuals under the relevant articles of the Criminal Code, and investigative procedures are underway.
