On 25 October of the current year, the people of the Earth can observe one of the most interesting astronomical phenomena - a partial solar eclipse.  This was announced by the Institute of Astronomy named after Mirzo Ulugbek of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan.

It is noted that almost 82% of the Sun's surface is covered during the full phase of the eclipse.  The total duration of the solar eclipse is more than 4 hours, and for more than 2 hours it can be observed in Uzbekistan.

This astronomical event can be observed by residents of Iceland and Greenland, the northeastern part of Africa, Europe, the Middle East, Western Siberia, and Central Asia.

The partial solar eclipse can be observed in almost the same large phase in all regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan.  At the maximum phase, up to 68 percent of the Sun's surface is blocked by the Moon.  Due to the sunset, the total duration of the eclipse will actually be shorter in some areas.

Residents of Uzbekistan can watch the eclipse based on the following schedule.
