7157The Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment has approved the 2025 working hours calendar, outlining the official days off for Uzbek citizens. The calendar applies to all organizations and confirms public and religious holidays.
Public Holidays in 2025:
January 1 – New Year
March 8 – Women's Day
March 21 – Nawruz
March 31 – Eid al-Fitr (Ramadan Eid)
May 9 – Day of Memory and Dignity
June 7 – Eid al-Adha (Kurban Eid)
September 1 – Independence Day
October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day
December 8 – Constitution Day
Additional Days Off:
If holidays coincide with weekends, additional days off are granted.
March 8 (Women's Day) falls on a Saturday – the day off will shift to Monday, March 10.
June 7 (Eid al-Adha) also falls on a Saturday – the day off will move to Monday, June 9.
Previously, authorities announced the number of days off for the New Year holiday, contributing to the overall public holiday schedule.
