This year, the economic growth of Uzbekistan is predicted to be 4.9 percent. This is stated in the World Bank report.
It is reported that in 2022, the rate of growth of the gross domestic product in Uzbekistan will reach 5.7%. In 2021, it was 7.4 percent. It should be noted that this indicator is decreasing year by year.
In 2023, a recession in Russia and slow growth in China will negatively affect the level of economic activity in Central Asia. According to forecasts, the economic growth of the region this year will be 4.9 percent. The growth of GDP in Central Asian countries is as follows:
4.9 percent in Uzbekistan
3.5 percent in Kazakhstan
3.5 percent in Kyrgyzstan
Tajikistan is expected to increase by 5%.
