The address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the Chambers of the Oliy Majlis has begun.
The head of state began his speech by expressing gratitude and emphasizing that the population of the country now exceeds 36 million.
“Every year, about 900,000 new generations join our ranks,” says the President.
Continuing, he said that the past year has been difficult.
“We are constantly searching to create the necessary conditions for each member of the big and friendly family called Uzbekistan to live a peaceful and prosperous life. It would be true if I say that 2022, which is coming to an end, has been a very complicated and testing year.
The experience we have gathered during this period clearly proves one truth: progress is made only through courageous work!
