Avalanche warning issued for 2 regions of Uzbekistan

Due to expected precipitation and fluctuations in air temperature from February 25 to 28, 2025, an avalanche risk has been declared in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan, Uzhydromet reports.
The warning applies to the following areas:
- Tashkent region: Bostanlyk, Akhangaron, and Parkent districts (mountains of the Chatkal range)
- Namangan region: Pop district
“We ask citizens living in mountainous regions, vacationers and drivers traveling in mountainous areas to take precautionary measures,” the message says.
