On October 8, a tragic accident occurred in Olmalik, Tashkent region, when a 19-year-old driver fatally struck a 50-year-old pedestrian.
The incident took place around 12:05 a.m. on Amir Temur Street. The driver, O.Sh., born in 2005, was driving a Nexia-3 when he hit U.A., a pedestrian born in 1974, who was crossing the road at an unregulated pedestrian crossing. The impact resulted in a fatal traffic accident, with the pedestrian dying at the scene.
"Currently, an investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Department of the Internal Affairs Department of Olmalik city," according to official reports.
This follows a similar incident in the Koshtepa district of the Fergana region, where a man was struck by a car while standing in front of his house.
