13-year-old Uzbek boy attempts murder in Turkey

Reports of crimes committed by Uzbeks abroad continue to emerge. The latest case was recorded in Istanbul, Turkey, where the suspect is a 13-year-old Uzbek boy.
According to local Turkish media, the boy, identified as S.T., allegedly stabbed 26-year-old Muhammad U., the boyfriend of his 24-year-old sister A.T., in front of her home, leaving him seriously injured. The victim was immediately hospitalized, and the boy was arrested.
The incident took place on August 22 at around 9:30 p.m. local time in Oqsaray, a district of Istanbul known for its large Uzbek community. Reports indicate that a quarrel broke out between Muhammad U. and S.T., during which the teenager stabbed the man in the left side of his chest.
The boy’s sister called an ambulance and police to the scene. The injured man was transported to the hospital for medical treatment. S.T. initially fled but was later found by police in a nearby park.
