Centenarians over 100 years old living in various regions of Uzbekistan have been awarded the Shuhrat medal. This was established today, August 25, by a Presidential Decree titled “On awarding a group of civil servants and workers in the production and socio-economic sectors in connection with the 34th anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.”
The following individuals over the age of 100 received the honor:
- Gadanova Haticha – Narpay district, Samarkand region
- Galimova Naziba – Bogot district, Khorezm region
- Zaripova Narjan – Beruni district, Republic of Karakalpakstan
- Imamkulova Sukhsurbu – Pop district, Namangan region
- Kenjaeva Anor – Yangiabad district, Jizzakh region
- Matisokova Melibu – Buvaida district, Fergana region
- Normatov Urazali – Sardoba district, Syrdarya region
- Rozieva Nazmira Mirsultanovna – Mirzo Ulugbek district, Tashkent city
- Tabarov Ikram – Shorchi district, Surkhandarya region
- Tagoev Jurakul – Khatirchi district, Navoi region
- Teshaev Achil – Jondor district, Bukhara region
- Usmanova Mekhri – Chinoz district, Tashkent region
- Shirnazarov Makhmadali – Shahrisabz district, Kashkadarya region
- Yuldosheva Chinikhon – Pakhtaobod district, Andijan region
It should be noted that one minister, several deputy ministers, and committee chairmen were also recognized under this presidential decree.
