From 1 January, 9 agencies will be closed – list

Following a decree by the President, from 1 January 2023 the public administration bodies of the republic will be reorganized as follows:
Ministries:

The Ministry of Public Education – the Ministry of Preschool and School Education is being established;

Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade – the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade is being established on the basis;

The Ministry of Economic Development and Poverty Alleviation is being created based on the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Poverty Alleviation and Employment;

Ministry of Finance – basically the Ministry of Economy and Finance is being established;

On the basis of the Ministry of Construction and the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services, the Ministry of Construction and Housing and Communal Services is being established;

The Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations and the Ministry of Neighborhood and Nurani Support – the Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment is being established;

The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education is being established on the basis of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications Development – the Ministry of Digital Technologies is being established on the basis;

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism is being established on the basis of the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage and the Ministry of Culture;

The Ministry of Pre-school Education – basically, the Pre-school Education Agency is being established under the Ministry of Pre-school and School Education;

The Ministry of Innovative Development – the Innovative Development Agency is being established under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation;

The Ministry of Sports Development is being established on the basis of the Ministry of Youth Policy and Sports;

Committees:

The Ministry of Natural Resources is being established on the basis of the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection;

The Anti-monopoly Committee is being established on the basis of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights;

The Ministry of Mining and Geology is being established on the basis of the State Committee for Geology and Mineral Resources;

Agencies:

The agency for providing services in agriculture under the Ministry of Agriculture is being established on the basis of the Horticulture and Greenhouse Development Agency under the Ministry of Agriculture.
