Husniddin Norbekov becomes three-times paralympic champion

Husniddin Norbekov of Uzbekistan, competing in the men’s shot put event in the F35 class, achieved a distance of 16.82 meters, winning the Paralympic Games for the third time.

He is the first Uzbek athlete to achieve such a feat.

For reference, Husniddin Norbekov previously won gold medals at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Summer Paralympic Games.

On September 5, para-judoka Sherzod Namozov, representing Uzbekistan in the para-judo competition, won the final match, becoming a two-time Paralympic champion.
