"Manchester City" manager Josep Guardiola has expressed confidence in the potential of Uzbek defender Abdukodir Khusanov, predicting a bright future for the young player.
"Khusanov has the potential to be a great player in the future. This is very good for him and for all of us. We see his talent—he is calm with the ball and very fast. He still needs to improve his decision-making, but that will come with age," said Guardiola.
The 20-year-old defender has played three matches for "Manchester City" so far, scoring one goal. Notably, City remains unbeaten in the games where Khusanov has featured.
Earlier in the summer, reports suggested that "Manchester City" was considering selling three of its key players.
