Young man arrested for grabbing fish from pond and insulting woman (video)

A video circulating on social media shows a young man grabbing a fish from a pond and verbally insulting a woman who objected to his actions. The Tashkent City Main Department of Internal Affairs commented on the incident.

According to the report, on June 23, 2025, at around 10:00 p.m., a young man identified as M.Sh., born in 2003, pulled a fish from a pond with his bare hands. D.A., born in 2000, confronted him and asked him to release the fish back into the water. In response, M.Sh., while in a public place, used obscene language towards D.A., deliberately violating public order.

As a result, the Investigation Department of the Mirzo Ulugbek District Internal Affairs Directorate filed an administrative case against M.Sh. under Article 183 of the Code of Administrative Responsibility (petty hooliganism). The case has been forwarded to the Mirzo Ulugbek District Criminal Court for further legal action.

It is worth noting that earlier, a 25-year-old woman who insulted Tashkent residents on social media was sentenced to 10 days in administrative detention.
