“Rahul” from India was prosecuted in Uzbekistan

In Uzbekistan, a person born in India was prosecuted under Part 2 of Article 140 (Insulting) of the Criminal Code.  This was reported by the Cyber Security Center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

It was reported that "Indorama Agro" LLC, located in the Kashkadarya region, appealed to the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs, stating that a user named "Rahul" insulted workers in English in the Telegram messenger group and caused objections by several workers who then requested to take legal action against him.

As a result of quick search measures, it was determined that the person who used insulting words in the Telegram messenger is K.R., an employee of "Indorama Agro" Limited Liability Company, who was born in India.

According to Article 140, Part 2 of the Criminal Code, a criminal case has been initiated against K.R. and an investigation is underway.
