Temperature to rise to 42 degrees during the week

Dry and mostly cloudy weather is expected in Uzbekistan from May 12 to 16, 2025, according to Uzhydromet.

It has been reported that short-term rains and thunderstorms may occur in some mountainous regions on May 12-13.

Today, May 12, the daytime temperature will range from 32-35 degrees, reaching up to 37-39 degrees in the north, south, and desert areas.

Starting tomorrow, the influx of hot air will intensify across the republic. The air temperature is expected to gradually rise, with daytime temperatures reaching 37-40 degrees by the end of the workweek. In some areas, temperatures may climb to 41-42 degrees.

In the north and desert regions, wind speeds may increase to 15-18 m/s, and dust may also be observed in some areas.

In Tashkent, the weather will be partly cloudy, with no precipitation expected. The wind will blow from the east at speeds of 3-8 m/s. The daytime temperature today will be 33-35 degrees. From May 13-14, the temperature will range from 35-38 degrees, rising to 38-41 degrees on May 15-16. At night, the temperature will rise from 19-21 degrees to 23-25 degrees.
