Aziz Magrupov appointed to another new position

Aziz Yuldashevich Magrupov, who had been serving as the Presidential Representative for Foreign Investments of the Republic of Uzbekistan, has been appointed to a new position. The relevant decree was signed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

According to the decree, Aziz Yuldashevich Magrupov has been appointed Deputy Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Regional Development and, in connection with this, relieved of his duties as Presidential Representative for Foreign Investments.

Aziz Magrupov was appointed Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration in 2018. On August 25, 2023, the new structure of the Presidential Administration was approved, under which Magrupov became Presidential Aide. On June 23, 2025, following changes in the Administration’s structure, he was appointed Presidential Adviser on Foreign Investment Affairs. A month later, he was named Presidential Representative for Foreign Investments.
