The "Uzbekconcert" state institution organized a meeting with singers to clarify the importance of refraining from promoting any specific religion during concerts and performances. This initiative was detailed in a report posted on the organization's official website.

The meeting took place on March 3 at the "Uzbekconcert" state institution, where attendees discussed the cultural and educational aspects of concert and performance activities, as well as "artist's etiquette."

Present at the meeting were law enforcement officers, First Deputy Minister of Culture Bakhodir Akhmedov, "Uzbekconcert" leadership, staff members, regional department heads, and singers from various regions (participating via Zoom).

The discussion centered on a range of topics, including the spiritual and cultural roles of artists, the Law "On Ensuring Freedom of Conscience of Citizens in the Republic of Uzbekistan," and the regulations surrounding concert and entertainment activities. The meeting also addressed licensing requirements for artists and the protection of copyright.

One key topic was ensuring artists' compliance with the mandatory guidelines set by the "Uzbekconcert" state institution. This includes adherence to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Licensing, Permitting, and Notification Procedures” and the specific licensing requirements related to religious neutrality in performances.

In addition, the meeting emphasized the importance of respecting Uzbekistan’s Constitution and other legislative acts. Artists were urged to honor the country's dignity while performing abroad and to uphold Uzbek values, culture, and etiquette at all times.

A key message delivered during the meeting was the importance of refraining from spreading false information, incitement, or harmful rhetoric. Artists were also reminded to maintain appropriate dress codes, honor national customs, avoid ostentation or negative behaviors, and follow proper conduct in public spaces, including cafes, restaurants, and bars.

The session also addressed concerns regarding the content of songs, particularly focusing on ensuring that lyrics promote patriotism, loyalty, and love for the homeland. The attendees were encouraged to serve as positive role models for the younger generation.
