Uzbek drivers may be sent to work in the UAE

Experienced drivers from Uzbekistan may be recruited as taxi drivers by a company in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This was reported by the "Dunyo" information agency.

It is noted that employees of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan held negotiations with Said Amin Abdulrahman, the head of the UAE's Dubai Taxi Company PJSC. The discussions centered on issues of legally providing qualified drivers from Uzbekistan with suitable employment in the UAE.

Said Amin Abdulrahman expressed the company's readiness to provide legal support for the process of recruiting experienced drivers from Uzbekistan and to engage in mutually beneficial cooperation in the field of external labor migration.

"At the initial stage, we have the capacity to recruit about 200 citizens of Uzbekistan as taxi drivers for our company. If their labor efficiency is high, an additional 500 Uzbek taxi drivers could be recruited," he stated.

At the conclusion of the negotiations, representatives of the Uzbekistan Labor Agency and the Dubai Taxi Company PJSC agreed to discuss the next stages of cooperation in this sector.
