It was announced which regions are the most comfortable for living in Uzbekistan

Liveability ranking of regions of Uzbekistan was compiled.  This rating was developed by experts of the Institute of Forecasting and Macroeconomic Research.

The rating includes 37 indicators related to areas such as social stability, health care, education, culture, environment and infrastructural facilities.

According to the results of the analysis, Tashkent city (rating index 65), Bukhara (57), Navoi (49), and Fergana (48) regions were the most comfortable regions for living in Uzbekistan in 2021.

Top results for destinations:

Social stability: Navoi region (69)
Healthcare: Tashkent city (75)
Culture and environment: Tashkent city (70)
Education: Republic of Karakalpakstan (63)
Infrastructure opportunities: Tashkent city (85)
In 2020-2021, the following changes occurred in the rating status:

Fergana region rose from the 7th to the 4th place, Tashkent region from the 12th to the 9th place, the Republic of Karakalpakstan from the 9th place to the 12th place, Samarkand  region fell from the 4th place to the 5th place, Jizzakh region from the 5th place to the 6th place, and Andijan region from the 5th place to the 6th place.

During 2020-2021, the indicator of stability in the republic increased by +1.0 points, the indicator of the health direction increased by +1.4 points, the indicator of education increased by +3.1 points, the indicator of infrastructures increased by +0  increased by .5 points, while the culture and environment indicator decreased by -0.2 points.

During the research period, the best result was recorded in the field of education.  The reason for this is the launch of distance education platforms and the increase of admission quotas of higher education institutions.
