Major agreements signed between Uzbek and US companies

On September 22, a ceremony for exchanging bilateral agreements was held in the presence of President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Special Representative of the US President Sergio Gore, the presidential press service reported.

A number of documents were signed on the implementation of trade, economic, and investment cooperation projects, including:

•  A long-term cooperation agreement in the transport sector between the Ministry of Transport and Boeing;
•  An agreement on establishing a joint venture for the production of mining equipment between Technopark LLC and FLSmidth;
•  An agreement on establishing a multidisciplinary clinic and educational institution between Akfa Group and Cleveland Clinic;
•  An agreement on mutual partnership and cooperation between Centrum Air and the investment company Oppenheimer;
•  A cooperation agreement between the Ministry of Economy and Finance and Citigroup;
•  A financial cooperation agreement between Uzbekhydroenergo JSC and Cargill Financial Services International;
•  A cooperation agreement between Uztransgaz JSC and Pangea Filtration Technology;
•  An agreement on geological exploration in promising areas between the Ministry of Mining Industry and Geology and Cove Capital;
•  A cooperation agreement between Yangi Kon LLC and SLB;
•  An agreement between the Fund for Reconstruction and Development of Uzbekistan and Biologic International on creating funds to finance projects in the fields of artificial intelligence and biotechnology.

Earlier, Donald Trump welcomed the agreement signed by President Mirziyoyev with Boeing. According to Trump, the deal represents a large-scale contract for Boeing aircraft.
