Taras Shevchenko street in Tashkent will become a gastronomic street

Taras Shevchenko Street in Tashkent's Mirabad district will be transformed into a gastronomic street, according to the press service of the Mirabad district administration.
It was announced that district governor Anvar Sayfutdinov, during an open dialogue with business entities operating on the street, revealed that large-scale construction work to transform Taras Shevchenko Street into a gastronomic street will begin on July 15 of this year.
The government has decided to establish an entertainment street operating 24/7 in order to create attractive and bustling tourism and service infrastructure on the capital's streets.
The launch of this tourist street is expected to increase income sources for local entrepreneurs.
During the construction, the following works are planned: installation of lighting poles, benches, and trash cans; planting of trees and installation of irrigation systems; organization of an audio music system; installation of decorative arches and columns; creation of decorative elements for photo zones; establishment of pedestrian and bicycle paths and modern benches; and the installation of a children's playground and an exhibition stage.
