Free taxis will be allocated to students from Andijan in Tashkent to return home

25 vehicles will be allocated to bring Andijan students studying in Tashkent to their homes for the New Year holiday and winter vacation.  This was reported by the press service of the regional administration.

“Before the New Year’s holiday, it will be more difficult to find a ticket for the Tashkent-Andijan train, and the fare for returning by car will be more expensive on the eve of the holiday.  This puts students in a particularly difficult situation.  Based on this, we started this good work in order to facilitate the requirements and help them,” says O’tkirbek Mashrapov, head of the Andijan Transport Department.

In addition, it was proposed to involve car owners who are engaged in passenger transport activities, in order to bring as many students as possible.

It was reported that the cars will leave for Andijan on Tuesday 27 December, in front of the “Uzbekistan” hotel in the capital at 12:00p.m.  Andijan students studying in Tashkent can avail of this opportunity.
